Toy Commander
Dream Resurrection Dream Resurrection or DCRES is a project maintained by TuxTheWise. The goal is making high quality releases, caring about dummy (faster loadings), file order (GD or custom that makes loadings faster and reader noise quieter), downsampling (the best quality with available space) and selfboot. Toy Commander (PAL)

Ripped: Nothing (read below).
Downsampled: Nothing.
Source: GD dump.
This game was too big to fit on a CD-R with full CDDA. I had some ideas to correct that:
downsample videos (after figuring out that they were TM2X videos), edit CDDA or overburning disc
(because extra space needed was too low). But guess what, nothing of that were necessary. This
game has 3 videos, and they are duplicated because there was a copy for 50hz and other for 60hz.
What I made was changing the reference of the 50hz videos to 60hz. It means that if you boot the
game on a PAL console, it will play the 60hz videos. I was expecting some problem on that, but
videos played alright and I could delete half of the videos. Cool right?
Have fun with this cool game.
Features of my release:
- Nothing ripped or downsampled.
- CDDA fully working.
- Not corrupted files at all, it was made with GD dump files.
- Dummied for 700mb CDs. It means faster loading times.
- Used custom file order based on GD's. It means faster loadings and less Dreamcast reader noise.
- Selfboot.
About the game:
- It has VGA Box support.
Other comments:
- "Extras" folder in the pack contains some useless stuff. It also contains the extra content that
were in the CD part of GD.
- Release comes with covers.

It's an all-out war of the toys, and no room is safe in Toy
Commander on Sega Dreamcast. Childhood toys come to life and
fight for supremacy on the action-packed battlefield of a
young boy's home. Andy's old-fashioned, toddler toys are
fighting mad and not gonna stand for any more neglect. So they
rise up and rebel against the shiny new generation of action
toys, which you command to defend the playroom turf. But look
out -- your enemy may seem cute and cuddly, but they're heavily
armed and stone-cold deadly. With more than 50 hours of
mission-oriented gameplay, you'll control a battalion of air and
land assault toys as you clash on the kitchen table, under the
bed, or in other rebel-held territories throughout the house.
This is not your average fun and games.
- Total immersion in realistic and fully explorable 3D environments.
- Interact with all objects in the room.
- More than 50 hours of gameplay.
- Three different playing modes, two types of gameplay.
- Split screen capability allows action for up to four players.
- Eight battle arenas in the house, with up to two rooms each.
- 35 vehicles to alternate and control, with multiple functions
and weapons per vehicle.
- Players combat a wide variety of enemies, ranging from toys to
household items.
- 50 missions of varying difficulty and types, including: races,
dexterity, fighting, strategy, and boss.
