"The first PlayStation game published by Titus is Evil Zone, a fighting game acquired from Japanese developer Yukes. Originally called Eretzvaju in Japan, this 3D fighter feature ten different characters in a very Psychic Force-style energy battle, and you'll also be able to wield weapons as well. The game has five different fighting modes, including a story mode for each of the characters in the game. Other options include a survival mode in a test to see how far you can advance with a single player, a practice mode for training, and a versus mode for a flat-out two player brawl.

The graphics certainly take advantage of the PlayStation's 3D capabilities, with lightsourced characters and multiple camera angles to give you a super dynamic perspective on the game at all times – even so much as flipping to a different camera every time you perform the same move. And some of the secret moves in the game – let's just say it gets a little insane. Fireballs, plasma explosions...heck, one player can clone herself and pummel opponents from all sides."

I saw that PAL cover when I was cover searching, and thought the same thing. That's a HORRIBLE cover for NTSC. It's about as generic as it gets....

Example's cover is a custom job as NTSC-U covers don't use that format. Here's what I found. I think this is the real NTSC-U cover.



I also found another PAL cover, though this looks like a custom job, I can't tell for sure.



I like gladiator's cover better though.

Is there any difference to the Japanese version other than language? I mean, any censoring, character changes, extra characters, etc.

Would anyone recommend one version over the other, or is it no big deal?

jap version are usually easier to play, difficult is lower
