Dreamcast Master List
News and Updates
07-02-10: Updating Master List and Reupload list + links checked.
Finished:#-C
09-30-07: Being updated by
dreamer cab
07-09-07: Now being updated by

06-24-07: Going over the list with a fine-toothed comb (ugh). I have decided to add 4 new categories to the bottom of the page:
Bleem!ed special versions of PSX games made with Bleem to run on Dreamcast. These usually don't run quite as well as they do on a PSX. So if you encounter graphical glitches and can't save a game that's why.
Utilities fairly self-explanatory.
Compilations Multiple DC games on 1 disc
Homebrews fairly self-explanatory.
Console Emulation You guessed it
Others pretty much anything that's not really a game, like a demo/beta or those japanese horse racing betting things, or anything that doesn't really fit into the above categories.
06-25-07: Currently going through each and every single game thread and editing the titles to the proper game titles as well as merging threads that needed to be merged. I found quite a few double posts for games.
quick update: The letters # thru L have been completely re-edited. I'll do the rest tomorrow.
06-27-07: Almost done updating everything. Just got the S, T, and the miscellaneous stuff to look through. Unfortunately, a lot of this list is still going to be somewhat incomplete. I wasn't able to to label all the games with the right file format due to the fact that so many people really didn't post squat for info on the games other than a title. Also,
NO MORE NERO FORMATTED IMAGES! Period. The ones that are already here shall remain until the links die or someone uploads it in a
proper format (
CDI or
BIN+CUE). MDF+MDS format is slightly more acceptable but it's still not the proper format for a Dreamcast image so once again please don't bother uploading those either. Sorry but I am just tired of seeing people getting confused on how to burn these images so I think it better to just not have them at all, besides these are re-rips anyway and aren't original. There's a big difference in re-ripping a DC game and a PSX game, and there are those who think it's the same and it's not.
PLEASE READ
New rules for the DC section!: After looking at the mess that is the Dreamcast section, and getting rather fed up with editing certain threads (Valencia's mainly), I've decided to enforce some new rules for posting uploaded games.
#1. Double-check and make absolutely sure the game you're posting is not already on the master list below. If it's already on the list, make your post in the thread for that game.
DO NOT MAKE A NEW THREAD FOR A GAME WE ALREADY HAVE LISTED!.
#2. When posting a game, be specific about it.
Proper game title (research it before you post if you have to, especially japanese titles. Google is your friend!),
proper game region (THIS IS A MUST!!!), and
proper file format (CDI, ALCOHOL, BIN, whatever).
So if you post a copy of the USA version of Capcom vs. SNK that is a DiscJuggler image for example, then the thread title should look
exactly like this:
(DC) Capcom vs. SNK - Millennium Fight 2000 [NTSC-U][CDI]
Do not post titles like
(DC) RE3 - Nemesis (RS.COM), or
(DC) RE3 - Nemesis (FULL). Regions and file formats must be in
[brackets] not (parentheses) or anything else. Follow the guide below. I'll ask you once to edit the thread and get it right from then after.
NO EXCUSES FOR SECOND OFFENSES! You're on a forum so be sure to
READ ALL THE RULES FIRST before you go posting around. This goes for any forum you may encounter. If you can't post the information about what type of file the image is or the region then don't even bother. I'm fucking sick of seeing people posting games with lack of info. Basically, if we don't know anything about the game how do we know we even want to download it? Would you if you were in that situation? Probably not. You'd probably go somewhere more reliable.
Here is the legend for the different region and image formats
FOLLOW THIS GUIDELINE!!! NO IFS, ANDS, OR BUTTS!:
Code:
REGiON CODES
[NTSC-U] = AMERiCAN RELEASE (covers are usually white or black.)
[PAL-E] = EUROPEAN RELEASE (covers are blue.)
[NTSC-J] = JAPANESE RELEASE (covers are orange.)
PROPER FORMATS FOR DREAMCAST iMAGES (DC Scene Standard!)
[CDI] = DiSCJUGGLER SELFBOOTiNG
[BIN+CUE] = CDRWiN NON-SELFBOOTiNG (YOU WILL NEED THE UTOPIA BOOT DISC FOR THESE!)
[ISO] = ISO (There are very few of this type in the Scene.)
[99min CD REQ] = 99min CD is needed to burn this image.(Will play on a DC or emulator.)
[GDI dump emu] = Only for play on emulators. NOT burnable!
PLEASE DON'T UPLOAD THE FOLLOWING FORMATS! These are re-rips and re-rips = crap.
The games already posted in this format shall remain until someone reuploads them
in a proper format (See above).
[MDF+MDS] = ALCOHOL 120% SELFBOOTiNG (Usually. Check game thread for more details.)
[NRG] = NERO SELFBOOTiNG (Usually. Check game thread for more details.)
[CCD] = CLONECD (Usually. Check game thread for more details.)
The main reasons for implementing this is because we want this to be the BEST site to get your games, and the only way to do that is to offer quality isos that you know are going to work 100%. I would really like to see more DC games be posted in their
original rarsets. What's an original rarset? Well it's a set of rar files that is released by a release group (Echelon and Kalisto being the main ones for the DC Scene at the time). These sets usually have filenames that look like this:
e-poprpk.001
e-poprpk.002
e-poprpk.003, etc.
or
kal-kof99.001
kal-kof99.002
kal-kof99.003, etc.
Note how the sets start with an "
e-" prefix for Echelon's release and a "
kal-" prefix for Kalisto's release. Release groups usually do this so you know who released the game for authenticity purposes. Basically if you see a set of files like this you definitely want to grab it because you know it'll work
100%. You see there is a method of operation in all this, and it all revolves around the
Scene Standards. Read more about them at
AboutTheScene and
WhyRAR. If you can help this cause I would be eternally grateful. It would be nice to have a
FULL DC SCENE COLLECTION of rarsets, all original. And there are people out there who have these but they aren't on our site lol. So here's your mission, if you choose to accept it:
hunt down original rarsets and their collectors and bring them here!!!
#3. Post the proper game cover art (if available) for the game. I don't want to be seeing USA covers for JAPANESE games or EUROPEAN (
BLUE) covers for USA games. Some old posters had a
real bad habit of doing that. The best place to find covers is at
CDcovers.cc.
#4. Excessive use of large in-game screenshots is forbidden, meaning that if you are going to post 4 or more screenshots then use the Imageshack thumbnail links instead of full-sized images. And if you are going to use a full-sized image try to keep it reasonable (640X480 MAX!). The pages on the forum will load a hell of a lot faster, especially for people on dial-up. Also try to post the thumbnails horizontally (left to right on the same line) to keep the post from being a mile long. I got fed up scrolling down a mile-long page trying to find the damned links! (And I have a huge 1280X1024 desktop resolution at that!) Imagine how our downloaders must feel!
#5. If you are going to post a review make a link to where it can be found instead of copying the whole page into your post. I found it senseless how someone was constantly posting all the full IGN reviews for the games in their posts, making them a mile long. Or, if you want, copy and paste the review into a text file and upload it to your post as an attachment that way if someone wants to read or save it they can.
#6. NO RIPS ALLOWED! All posted rips will be promptly tossed into O.L.G.C. (O.ur L.ocal G.arbage C.an a.k.a. Our Lady of Good Counsel:P).
#7. Please make sure your posts are in
ENGLISH as this is the more universal language. Most of our users don't understand non-english languages, and I don't either. I don't want to be sitting on babelfish all day trying to figure out what you posted. I have more important things to do.
Thanks for your cooperation in advance and happy downloading!
