Valkyrie Profile NTSC-U for Playstation.

THE GOOD:
Great fightig system, innovative gameplay and story, a lot of characters, and good 2D prerendered graphics.

THE BAD:
I did not like giving up my characters.


SUMMARY:
Well this is a good Enix RPG I must say. The story is very interesting Gods, demigods, and the end of the world. I loved the fighting system by dealing out multiple combos and stuff. I have once bought this game for $11.00 used before and it ticked me off that my dad pawned it for $5.00. So I had to wait 4 years later to actually find another cheap copy of it. By the way it costed me $30.00 used at my local Used cd and games store.

It shouldn't matter what the size of the ISO is. If you burn it correctly, you can burn something larger than 701MB on a standard CD. There are guides on that.

doesnot matter if the image file is bigger than 700MB, you can still burn it to a CD-R. it WILL fit on a CD-R..its just that image files has extra info on em when use with teh burnin process...

RO is 'Ragnarok Online', an MMORPG with chibi cel-shaded graphics (think Xenogears), that is based off the anime Ragnarok, which is itself an interpretation of Norse myth surrounding the god Baldyr and his role in bringing about the end of the old world; otherwise known as Ragnarok.

The game is fun, and you can download it free and find a free server to play on. I'm not sure how legal it is, however.

This is an amazing RPG and one of Enix's masterpieces (next to Star Ocean). I have not beaten this game (always get to the second disc and then get baffled as to how to switch cd's on an emulator), but the small portion I have played was awesome. The game brings RPGs to a new level in gameplay and concept (much like all Enix RPG's were like). I cannot recommend this game too much.

To change ISOs/Disks in an emulator, if your using ePSXe, press "esc" on the keyboard while at a change disc screen, click on File->Change Disc->ISO/CDROM and click the the other ISO image or insert the new disk and click it.

1.5.2 and 1.6.0 emulate it just fine. Don't forget that this game is really edgy about savestates, so don't use them, save in-game. Also, go into the sound config window of your audio plugin, then enable the XA and SPU IRQ options at the bottom. This will save you from having to reset the game in some cutscenes. ;)

Well, since the game is easily corrupted, if you use savestates, you might be unlucky because a savestate saves the status of the whole emulator, not just the game. So, if you save a state while the game's being shitty, you have no way out of it. But, as long as you use regular saves, it's all good.

It is a very good game, has a very very good plot and very interesting combat system along with the 2d platform exploration and nice cutscenes, but even with the best possible configuration and the special fixes on, the sound can still go shitty in the emulator, specially at the ending part of long cutscenes. And the game can just as easily result in a frozen computer with only the sound being played and nothing but black screen in the name of video lol. But, it still is a very very good game, although it can be hard to grasp for those unwilling to adapt to its unique style.

dunno if it's just me, but I'm having problems w/ disc 1, burned it w/ clone cd it hangs after freya and lenneth talk, when freya is about to tell something to lenneth the screen fades to black and it stops there a little cd logo on the lower right appears, can somebody help me on this, burned the cd twice and had the same result, thanks and more power to all

hey, i found a torrent file for this game and came 2 bin.uha files, one for cd 1 and other for cd 2??

Then you get the cd1 and cd2 images. Either burn them to cds or mount
them on a virtual cd/dvd drive.

the beginning of this game is so slow. not like lag.. just slow.
