I don't have my original rar's that I uploaded, I have to take it off my dvd I burned my singal rar to and recompress it ect.(hardest part is finding my damn dvd with rec:v on it, I need to start labeling them better:uhh1go:)

Don't use Rapidshare, either. They went back to 100 MB per file and they delete your uploads if they are inactive for ten days, or less sometimes.

Cool....DSR's link works if you use a download manager...it pauses the DL at 300 and you have to wait about an hour then start it again and it will finish...Im gonna up it somewhere else tonight. You get 2 up and we will be set.

We have the two best right here in the DC section...2 and CV.....too bad we dont have 4 here...I just got teh PS2 version teh other day. I had to play through with Ada. BTW...GC control's are 10X better than the PS2's.

Yes they did...and they are available here as a matter of fact...or atleast they were at one time. They used teh DC ports for teh Gamecube releases as well....you can get every RE game except for teh 2 BS Outbreak games on teh GC.

Sorry..i was trying to say that They didn't make a sequel of RE:CV for Dreamcast, i know that they made RE2 and 3 for the DC but that games were very old as i played and finish them with the psx, also i bought RE2 with the psx in 1997...i didn't played them on the dc, i don't know how the ports are in terms of graphics but i read this and a friend of mine told me this too : RE2 is a piss poor effort from Capcom after their amazing Code Veronica release. Basicaly Bio Hazard 2 on the DC is the PSX version with an added "Extreme Battle" option. There is no excuse for lazy PSX ports to DC with out any enhancements at all. I can name may, Bio hazard 2, Bio Hazard 3, All Konami games (apart from Ganbare Nippon and Airforce Delta),like Dino Crisis and Nightmare Creatures 2 which even looked crap on the PSX so you can imagine my horror when I saw it running on the DC.

Hey dudes! As you can see this is my first post here, which means I'm a bit noob-like. I have a question/problem. I've downloaded the 2 CDs, DC version of RE:CV (2 .iso-s). I have Chankast025 with a DC bios, and of course the virtual drive tool, Demon Tools. So my prob is, when I mount CD1, and run chankast it says "Please insert game disc." when I hit play. I have WinXP, and it runs CV like it's an audio disc. Can anyone help me with this? I've played CV on DC and it's awesomely cool. Wanna play it on PC. Thanks in advance! :thumbsup:

I played it some time ago at a friend's house, and i got as far as antartica, but had to leave after that, so I never finished it, and it's a must to RE series. I've tried several times now to get this game, from all the mirrors and none of them work. One of them had three files at megaupload but two of the files have been corrupted, and the other mirror says that the file was deleted due to inactivity. The second disc is corrupted. When I try to swap discs in nullDC it doesn't recognize it and I get message "This is not RE:CV disc 2". When I try to mount it with Alcohol 120%, it doesn't autorun as first CD - it's unreadable.

Good, here I am again with another repack, of course better than the last release.

The voices in 44khz were downsampled to 32khz (same frequency of almost all voices in the game).
and the audio of videos were also downsampled to 32khz (still stereo). With that, all audio of the
game are now at 32khz. Most of them was 32khz already, so you won't be able to notice any
difference.

I've used a better video encoder this time, so the videos got better and smaller. Additionally,
I had more space because of the audio. Only the opening video in first disc was downsampled, and
in second disc, about 60% of the videos. Note that when I say downsampled, I mean re-encoded.
Except for very dark scenes, the video quality difference between my videos and the original ones
won't be noticeable.

About performance, file order is more optimized than last time, and my last optimization techniques
were used.

Additionally, PAL 60hz patch for both discs are included in the pack. If you have a PAL console,
apply the patch before burning to make the game boot in 60hz. Note that it also fixes the de-sync
issues in animation that happens in 50hz. If you have a NTSC console, don't worry about that.

I hope it's the last time I work in this game. I'm proud of my clever choices in this release, and
I'm sure you'll like it either. Have fun.

This game is great and I knew I could release it with much better quality than last time. Now
I downsampled videos myself, but I didn't have to downsample them all. In first disc, only
opening video is downsampled. In second, around half of videos are downsampled. I let audio of
videos untouched. Videos that were re-encoded, were made using VBR in the same bitrate as the
original video, so quality is very close to the original. Making a short explanation: videos are
great. Much better than my first release, and I'm sure that they're much better than the other
releases around.

I've used a custom file order based on GD original one, so you can expect great performance. This
is the best release possible of this great game, so grab it while you can.

Features of my release:
- Not corrupted files at all, it was made with GD dump files.
- Dummied for 700mb CDs.
- Used custom file order. It helps loading times and Dreamcast reader noise.
- Selfboot.

About the game:
- It has VGA Box support.

Other comments:
- "Extras" folder in the pack contains some useless stuff.
- Release comes with manual and covers.

So. I've downloaded the game from teh first links, burnt it allright and played through the first disc without a problem. However, now I've reached the point where it asks for the second disk. I put it inside the DC, it reads the disc and says that it's note CV's disc two.

Is there anything I should be doing, like a patch or something?

If you say that, I suppose that you are playing it in NULL DC 1.6 BETA. There is a bug with that version, at the same point you said. I suggest you to use NULL DC 1.03, whic solves the problem (there is another way using NULLDCCHEAT EDITOR, but is more tedious, i think)
