Hmm, not sure. Perhaps both. I read about the NTSC/PAL thing, but I also know it will get rid of the protection so u can burn it.

This has led me to the conclusion that there are no errors on the remote files, but something on your end causing the problems...

Update #3: I've posted MD5 checksums for the archives. Download all files, the checksum file aswell as the MD5 checksum program to verify whether you got the files properly or ont...

excuse me please dont be mad at me if i post this but i got a emu called ePSXE and i did all the things like video i put petes open gl drive , sound- petes dsound audio drive 1.5 and cdrom is epsxe cdr core 1.5.2 and i got LOD Disc 1 i turned it into a z zip thing like this LOD_3.7z and i got another one that says LOD_3.7.iso and i tried both of them and all that happens is it loads then my screen goes blank and NEVER STARTS -_- and when i turn it on as bios it works it says memory card and media played but THE ROMS WONT WORK PLEASE HELP LOD WAS MY FAVOURITE GAME 3YEARS AGO I NEVER HAD A CHANCE TO COMPLETE IT AND NOW THIS IS MY CHANCE PLEASE SOMEONE WHO OWNS PS1 EMUS HELP ME!!!!:( PLESAE!!!!!

download the file using ftp filefactory not http file factory when extracting use 7zip.....

You can't argue with the Final Fantasy series. Comparing them to LOD is like comparing 2 diamonds with the same k. They're both flawless. The music in both Final Fantasy 7 and LOD is great ( although I can't find the theme music where when you first see the emporer at Kazas Castle on disk 1...and Shrine Of Shirley...but nontheless, great music ), both have great story plots, great characters, great graphics ( even compared to some of the games now days ), and farthermore.....both are just great games all together. To hell with the game critics who think LOD is a rip off from Final Fantasy 7:eviltongue9kp: ( or was it 8? lol I can't remember ). They're both completely different to me and both really good games. 10/10! If you don't have this game, this is a must for a download! Don't forget to vote!:D

I have almost no clue on how I can get this game to a DVD/CD. I have a lot of questions so get ready, lol. I had the four original CD's but they where destroyed:(
I tried to download the first CD but there seems to be nothing to download. Yes I copied the link to my browser, but nothing there.

Can someone please check all the links given, download might be gone or something.? If so pliss fix it:) Which programs and disk to use to succesfully obtain the game? And when it comes to the programs, pliss tell me step by step how to use it with the files i downlaod. Should I download every and I mean evrything from ALL the links given?

1. yes provided that your CDs and these CDs are same region.
2. yes.
3. no it wont. you will need 7-Zip for .001 files and WinRAR for .rar files. and i suggest you dont use flashget to download files.

This si by far one fo my favorite RPG's of all time! It has an interesting and compelling story that keeps you coming back for more without having to be as over the top as the FF games.

And oh man... the combat system is to die for! I love all the additions and try to master them all. Each character brings something unique to the table so that each battle is different depending upon who you have with you.

Could you guys imagine this game reproduced for the current gen? New Graphics, better dialog and talking characters past just battle..

Other than that, has anyone heard any news from a reliable source if there is going to be a sequel... or better yet a prequel? Oh man... I'd love to play in the original dragon campaigns with Rose, Zieg and the other original dragoons...

You need the 2 files to decompress the bin & cue files. If you have them, check the actual size and see if it matches the one posted. If not, download it again.

Ok first i wanna thank you for uploading this game, but how do i play it on my Playstaion. I burned one game so far and it was dragon seeds and it work fined. But every time i put this game in it says something like system has been modded a screen with a big circle with a slash through it comes up.


Do I have to patch the game and if i do how do i combined the patch file and the game file into one.

You're right, you have to patch the game to be able to play it on the PSX. For that, download the patch in the main post, and then open the PPF Engine and load the .bin file i the upper bar and the proper patch in the lower bar. Then clic on Apply!!

Well, what you have to do is to place all the archives (if it's a splitted file) in a same directory, check if they all have the same name, check if they all have the correct size, and then extract using 7zip.

Check if you have loaded a Memory Card in the emulator:

Hmm...

Got a few problems here and there after i downloaded the game. A few instances:

1) After I accessed some certain areas, the screen goes black but the music plays on.

If there is a problem with my PSXeven plugins, should the problems appear in the early beginning of the game itself?

2) The battle system is not focused whereby the screen shifts upwards in a weird way. a.k.a I don't see the character slashing the monster but maybe parts of the screen; the square box is present though.

I hope you can enlighten me on this one, cause I've downloaded the file twice in a row. Thanks.

If you happen to have an ADSL connection (or anything else with dynamic
IP), you can easily bypass it, by disconnecting and then reconnecting to the
internet. Otherwise, just wait for the time limit between downloads to pass.

Hi I only have a 1 gig Memory Card. So I can only have 1 disc at a time. If I delete the first disc once I am done and replace it with the 2nd disc can I continue my saved guy as long as I dont delete the saved file, or do I have to have all 4 on my memory card at one time? So i downloaded, LOD cd 2 the 2.7 file. I used 7zip on the 001 ,002 parts but it extracted me a LOD_2.7z file which is only 222mb i cant extract. Any ideas on how to fix it?

While I personally never had a chance to play the whole game through, (Am working on doing so now though :thumbsup:), I would have to say the shear depth this game brings to you is truly amazing. With graphics that are almost on par with earlier PS2 games, a story line that grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let go, and a soundtrack that is phenomenal, this game is a winner through and through. So without further ado, Legend of Dragoon, CD's 1-4.

how do i get the game because i don't understand how it works

1) Download all parts of a CD, by going to the coded links
(eventually you'll need all the parts of all the CDs).
2) Extract using 7-zip with the given password
(This is an example on the mirror by Garbosh52).
3) Mount the game on a virtual drive/ Burn the game to a CD.
4) Configure your emulator to run from the correct CD drive.
5) Enjoy the game.

It's possible to extract only just disc one and try the game ebfore you download the rest, but keep the unextracted folder for when you've downlaoded all 4, extraction works better that way :)

sorry if this doesn't belong here, but I figured this topic gets more views I guess than the technical difficulties one.

anyways, I'm fairly new to ePSXe emulation, and this is one game I've always loved, so it'd mean a lot to me if someone could help me out with my problem.

my problem is whenever I try to extract (using winrar/7z, neither work) any of the files, ether from filefactory, megaupload, or uploading.com, I always get the error message:

I don't have any disks to insert, so I dunno what to do to fix this. I've tried like 30 times and I keep getting this message. I've tried re-downloading and re-downloading but it doesn't make a difference. Most other games work fine, and this is the only one that's been giving me problems. If anyone could help me out that'd be greatly appreciated.

Hi, just mount the cue on a virtual drive, like daemon tools, if you're playing
on PC or burn the cue on a CD if you're playing on real hardware.

Daemon tools (http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php) simulates virtual CD/DVD-roms on PC. Allows playing without
burning on real CDs. But since you're using pSX, it simplifies stuffz and you
just need to go to File -> insert CD image -> select the *.cue file -> Play.

Yes ,it seems this game is not fully supported by pSX (has severe bugs), so
just use ePSXe instead, following the mounting stuff I told you about step by
step and the ePSXe guide in the guides section of SoR.

Edit: i re downloaded and the password worked.
after i extracted the CD1, and i try to open the game but the emulator says .cue file is not found, and error comes up with red letter on the screen.
do i need to download something else to let the game work? and I am using scph1001.bin. thanks

Mirror By: Kickrulez don't work. The first time I had this game i lent it to the girl i was dating at the time, who then moved to Texas and left it in the house that burnt down, so last year I bought a brand new copy! Seriously...brand new copy in '07...think it cost me like $30 or some shit.
