[Edit] CDMage reports 1 corrupted sector in each image. It can be serious, because it's impossible to make a copy without marking "skip reading errors" in CdrWin or Alcohol, but I think it could be some kind of copy-protection or sth (only one corrupted sector in each file). Strange.

I'll look in to it. I'll see if it was my work or my image that has the errors. I can't confirm that the original has these errors as mine is a copy.

Well the good news is the error's not in the work! My copied CD gives the same with CDmage. But seeing that it is the first 2kb of the file MOVIE1.HOG on both CDs leads me to believe that this is part of the game. Can someone with the original CD verify this please?

That's because rapidshare imposes limits on free downloads. Usually you can download one file every hour or so. Get one of the free premium account notifiers. No limits. Just be quick as hell when it notifies you. They go fast.

Well, new rules and all, soooo.....

I'm having problems with playing Disc 1. When moving on to the C-130 crash site level, the game freezes up.

I'm using ePSXe 1.6, with
-Bios: SCPH1001.BIN
-Video: Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76
-Sound: ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2

EDIT: I tried making a shortcut and putting "oldtiming" into the description, as was suggested in a thread in the old (locked) game difficulty forums. But it still isn't working for me.

What emulator are you playing this game with and is it the what version is it?
It is most likely that your emulator version is old, it should not happen on a more recent version of a emulator.

dont worry , the problem is solved already, just forgot to re-edit my previous post. :) And yeah, PSX Syphon Filters are forever ! It is very interesting to play these old games and remember the past when you was a child, respect to uploaders and psx emulator creators. :openbottle::thumbsup:

so i usually burn my games withj imgburn after downloading onto disk as i cant FTP at the minute
Lack of equipment and serious lack of funds lol
But if i where to download these games and brn to disk could i then copy them to my xbox so they would work on the emulator
and second, can these games run from disk?

Just an FYI for anyone....

There are two passwords for Gandalfini's upload lol.

First when extracting the 7z.001 and 7z.002 together, the password is actually: solareclipse

If you use soilareclipse or any wrong password, it joins the two 7z files for some reason to make syfiii.7z... and the password for that is: solareclipse

I dunno... I just thought it was funny lol.

His upload I think only has one disc of two for this game btw... lol.

Err actually...

His upload isn't even for Syphon Filter 2... I guess I should report this lol.
