Now let's see....it's another Twisted Metal competition. This time Calysto is running the tournament. Choose several characters, destroy other characters and the surrounding environments of the world. The winner gets a wish granted by Calysto. But how will things get twisted? Win and find out. Now personally, I had trouble beating this game fairly. It's just so hard. I bet that's why there are in-game cheats after all. And if you want, you can also cheat via GameShark or [pec]. Oh yeah....I just noticed that Twisted Metal 4 is posted on the Sports & Racing subforum. That is wrong! Haha....there is no racing in this game whatsoever! Oh....and also I'd like to note that there is no Twisted Metal 3 posted on this forum. Haha....that's it.

Ive beeen looking for this for ages, been downloaing a meag 1.8gig pack on bittorrent for ages but its a pain!!!! (3 days remaiing!!!) I love you *big kiss* (if your a girl!!!!) lol i used to have this game on PS1 and im still looking for a copy somewhere but copies of it here in the UK go for as much as £60 no idea what that is in USD but Xbox 360 games are around £50 if thats any clue, thats a bit much for 1 game IMO, my bruv lent my copy to a mate and well as usual i never got it back, emulators and ISO's on the net are a massive godsend for me 'cause i lost most of games when i bought a Nintnedo gamecube and PS2 a few years bak!!!

This game is the best ever in my opinion!! i have the original disc which i bought for £2 a few months ago, so there's no need for me to download, but i'll give you reputation for uploading the best game ever.

this game is so funny. Observe the CPU cars, they are hilarious to watch, the more you think about how "smart" they are, the funnier it gets... (or maybe it's just me).

Mr slam is the best.

EDIT: ok guys i've gotten this thing to finally work after much hassling; but there's still a lingering problem, or problems even..

Every time the PSX loses focus and is restored, nothing is displayed but sounds are still heard from the game running and all. is this a bug with the ISO or the EMU?

As for sounds, everytime i exit PSX the sounds still go on; any solutions to this?

ok first: did you burn it in ps1 format or ps2 format?
second: are you putting the disk straight in, or are you doing the ps2 version of the swap trick?

heres the ps2 version of the swap trick: note: this is for the slim ps2. for the fat one, you'll have to use something else.

this is to prepare your slim ps2 for the swap trick. open up your ps2. there are 2 buttons that are pressed when the cd cover is closed. the first one is where the power button is. there is a little circuit board thing with the power button and indicator light. on top of that, there is the switch. tape that down. next there is another button thatis somewhere in the left upper corner of where the cd playing unit thing is. when oyu find it, tape it down. its a small gray square next to a large screw. the switch is ridiculously small, so i would take some tweezers to put some tape on it.

now, put an original psone game in. boot up your ps2. it will spin kinda fast for a moment, but then it will begin to start the same speed up/slow down sequence that the psone does.

wait until the playstation logo comes up, and the disc is spinning quickly. Immediately when the disc slows down, take the original disc out, and put the burned one in. it will speed up again. when the disc slows down again, take out the burned disc, and put the burned disc in. watch your screen. Immediately when the screen turns completely black, or otherwise changes from the playstation logo, take the original out, and put the burned one in. you should now be playing your game.

it's a little complicated at first, but one you've done it correctly a few times you'll get the hang of it.
