This was missing for my collection and the freaking soul calibur game. Dam, how hard is to find that game.
I have download it like 5 times and no one of them work, not even the valencia one.
I have to wait for another person to upload it in .rar mode cuz I hate 7z with all my heart.

I downloaded this one,

Mirror by KaL YoshiKa
http://snesorama.us/board/showpost.php?p=123801&postcount=33,

but it is the Euro version called Jet Set Radio.

Where is the one for the version called Jet GRIND Radio? Not the one that requires a 99 minute cd to burn.

M0on
01-15-2008, 03:08 AM
Are you sure? ...weird, I'll/other mods will check this later, thx for the heads up !

Now, this is something important:
1) If you're looking for a game, use the search function. If you see NTSC-U,
there you have it. If not, it means it's was never uploaded and posted here
and/or it doesn't exist (google the latter).

2) In case it's the first and you wanna request it, read the forum rules and
follow them (you can't request anything except mirrors yet).

3) Ignoring a mod is a bad idea ....don't do this.

4) For the ones you've posted, I'm deleting all your "Is this NTSC-U?" posts,
where the game was released in America and in the others, I'll just tell you
it wasn't. If you keep spamming NTSC-U threads with this question without
a real point to it, we will be forced to take measures :(. (Reporting mis-information
though, like you did here is welcome and appreciated :))

5) PAL or NTSC-U shouldn't matter to you, as both are in English and are
usually exactly the same, but it's your call...

Please take these points into consideration.
M.

It IS Jet Set Radio but NTSC-U patched. Loads.....goes to rolling PAL for 5 seconds, then back.
Plays exactly the same, just the title is different. Works on NTSC-U console and VGA compatible.

It has some different music from NTSC-U version. Thanks for this Kal YoshiKa....now I have it too!!

Sorry, I'm new to this site. I was just looking for the USA one so I could use the gameshark codes for it. The Euro one only has one for inf. time. Anyway, thanks for the heads up.

EDIT: I found the real NTSC-U one here: http://snesorama.us/board/showthread.php?t=20827 Although what its doing in the puzzle section is beyond me.

i would have to agree with Skinny but Dangerous, this is the game that made me buy a Dreamcast console in the first place. this game is one of the best games on the Dreamcast and worth buying or download, but i already have this game PAL and NTSC both Factory-Sealed in my collection, PAL looks more better then the NTSC cover thats only my opinion. I did not really like the Xbox version Jet Set Radio Future that much compared to the original for some reason. Anyway buy or download this game and try it out

NOTE: I've seen some people uploading my releases in other servers. I recommend you always getting
my releases of my uploads in the forums above, because sometimes I release fixes or re-launch some
games that have problems. If you get my uploads you'll be sure of having the latest releases.
Additionally, you'll get the original package, not images made from discs, so you'll be sure that
nothing is corrupted.

---------------------------------
Jet Grind Radio (NTSC-U) *REPACK*
---------------------------------
Ripped: Nothing.
Downsampled: All sound 44khz stereo -> 32khz stereo.
Source: GD dump.

In my last release, audio was monoized (44khz), it was the best I could do in that time. In this
one, you have stereo audio (44khz -> 32khz). Quality of audio is great! I've compared both
qualities on my high quality sound system, and the difference is very (I mean very very very...)
small, you won't be able to notice any difference in-game. If you do compare with my first
release, however, you'll notice a great improvement: stereo does a lot of difference.

Two great problems came with stereo songs: space in disc and performance. I could make enough
space deleting useless files, like a cutted song and japanese voice files that are not used in the
game. Additionally, I could re-link some redundant files. Performance would be affected because
loading times are made while music is playing, and higher quality music requires more data to be
streamed. However, with my last optimization techniques it wasn't a big problem, and loading times
are still very fast.

I've optimized my last custom file order even more. It's VERY optimized, 100% original work. With
that, be sure you'll be getting the release with the best loading times around. Additionally,
reader movement has been reduced a lot.

Oh, and this game was protected, but fortunately I found instructions of how to break it and make
the game work correctly.

PAL users, this game will already boot in 60hz in your console.

Enjoy this great release, another one I'm very proud of.

Features of my release:
- Stereo sound!
- Not corrupted files at all, it was made with GD dump files.
- Used custom DCRES optimization techniques. It means faster loadings and less Dreamcast reader
noise.
- Selfboot.

About the game:
- It has VGA Box support.

Other comments:
- "Extras" folder in the pack contains some useless stuff.
- Release comes with manual and covers.

GLIDE YOUR WAY TO FREEDOM.

The government is attempting to silence the kids of Tokyo, but

with their Overdrive Magnetic-Motor Skating Shoes, the cops will

have to catch 'em first. The Jet Grind Radio program keeps the

kids unified and inspired to fight for their rights of expression,

which includes graffiti art. Grab your spray cans and design your

own piece on one of the immense walls in the 3D, interactive city.

You might be forced to protect your territory from adversaries

that want to take over your neighborhood. Join up with like-minded

hip individuals that will help you keep your area the way you want

it. The cops will be after you too, so you'll have to be quick.

The 10 cartoon-style characters are pumped up with polygons so they

come alive in 3D on Sega Dreamcast. Uniqueness is key to these kids

and each character stands apart with exclusive abilities and style.

They like to show off too, and with 18 missions, there's plenty of

time to impress. It's fast, it's fun, and it's definitely funky.

Game Features:

- Create your own logo by combining colors, letters, special effects.

- Zoom around the three massive worlds and make them your own. Zones

Checking files:
You can check if files are not corrupted with CRC included in filename. Try RapidCRC (http://rapidcrc.sourceforge.net/). The RAR files inside archive can be checked using the .sfv file (RapidCRC can open them too).

Extracting files:
Use 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) or any program that can extract .7z extension. For unpacking the RAR files inside archive, you can use WinRAR (http://www.win-rar.com/) or any program that can extract .rar extension.

Burning files:
Alcohol 120% (http://www.alcohol-soft.com/) must burn it right, but I haven't tried.

It seems like part 3 of that rar is corrupted. That is what I got when I finished downloading them all and tried to unRARed them. Any suggestions?

DCRES release has been repacked, now it has stereo sound. It must be the only 80min stereo JGR release around.

Nothing. Read the readme, it's there for a reason.
