The game may appear like something of a 3D version of Ghosts 'n' Goblins (with touches of Tim Burton's film, The Nightmare Before Christmas); however, the gameplay is very different. There are similarities to Capcom's title, since you must wade through a horde of creatures using an arsenal of found or earned weapons (such as a magic sword, a bow that shoots flaming arrows, and a throwing ax), but there's more at work than just hacking and slashing. Each level has unique puzzles that differ from stage to stage, giving a nice degree of variety to the title. Also, once a certain number of enemies is dispatched, you can gather up a chalice that gives you access to the Hall of Heroes, a place where heroic ghosts dole out special weapons or items with each visit, usually accompanied by a verbal dressing down at your unworthy status as the champion of a Gallowmere.

this is one of the best Action-Adventures made for the PSX, i had it but lost it whie moving :(
a great game that combines Action-Adventure with platformers, the closest thing to it would be Evil Twin for the DC, but this one is far better

ah man does it matter? i really don't wanna believe I fu**ed up my copy of this.

I just used this method:

All you have to do to find out if there are audio tracks is to set track 1 to AUDIO instead of MODE2/2352 and if it just plays static all the way through then it's only one data track.

I did my research now, now I feel like a dumbass :1087: lol. I know what you mean like does it have audio tracks as well as the data on track 01. nah it does have music but the game is a single track cause i been away it playing and all music has been perfect on my psone and I'm on the 6th level. So my cue works good man.

Nice upload. I saw this game on the Pizza-Powered Demo Disc that's being shared and had to get it.

After running the image through CDmage I found out that there is a dummy audio track that is nothing more then silence but can cause read errors in some programs if not marked in the cue file (CDmage game me 151 errors but all of them were in this track). I did some twicking and managed to make a working cue that gave me no errors after running again with CDmage (the fact that there was a DUMMY.CDA file on the disc helped out a bit in pinpointing the exact time code for track 2...I love CDmage):

Can someone please upload the four .rar files for this ISO to somewhere liek megaupload instead of Rapidshare? I downloaded PSXmaniak's links. I use ePSXe and the game doesn't work. I have another MediEvil .bin it works but since it crashes at the Asylum level i downloaded this and it's not working at all. Any idea?

MediEvil is a platform game released in October 1998 for Sony PlayStation in Europe and North America, and in June 1999 in Japan. The game was followed by MediEvil II in 2000.
